Has anyone tried the new FDA approved weight loss drug ALLI? If so, what were your results.?

Answer:
I tried it and you do loose a lot of weight, BUT if you eat grease you're going to **** grease. I do literally mean grease!! If you eat too much grease you will feel like you are in labor your stomach will cramp so bad! I don't think it's worth it. I stopped taking it because I couldn't handle not being able to hold it when you go to the bathroom and then the literal feel of grease is horrible!!
Read the possible side effects and warnings very carefully... it might sound familar like some other approved drug.Hmmm anal leakage? YIKES!
poop in your pants

Has anyone tried the new drug Alli that the FDA approved?

I know it is still early for results, but I was wondering if anyone had tried Alli and what the results were?
Answer:
My mother bought ALLI about 2-3 weeks ago. She's the kind of person who looks for a "quick fix", and i'm the kind who knows it takes hard work to lose weight...and KEEP it off! She most definitely experienced all of the bad side effects that so many have been talking about on ByeDr.com: loose oily stools, spotting, really bad gas, etc. But as I said before, she was looking for a quick fix! She didn't hardly follow the diet plan, and she would cheat all the time. She hates reading labels, so she did it rarely, not really seeing how many fat grams were in everything that she put in her mouth. I decided, since i've been trying to lose weight again recently (15 lbs. so far!) I might as well get some extra help since it's beach season now. I religiously read all labels, and I do work out. I don't even really like working out that much, but I make myself like it! I lost about 3 lbs. so far, but it's still early; I know i'm gonna be seeing consistent results! I have had an occasional run in with the bathroom in the almost 1 week i've been taking it, but we are all human. Sometimes I knew I was eating to much fat in one meal, and would suffer the consequences later, but that's why i LOVE ALLI, b/c it makes you AWARE of what NOT to eat. If you know you're going to be on the toilet for a 1/2 hr. singing the blues over one of the worst bowel movements you've ever had, you'll think twice about accepting that double glazed donut your friend is offering you! And w/o even realizing it, you've also just banished about 350 calories form your day as well. If you eat right, you won't have all these horror stories you're gonna hear about...and ALLI forces you to think about what you're going to eat...i love it! I've got about 25 more lbs. to go before i'm at a healthy BMI, and before I look great in a bikini! I think everyone who has 20+ lbs. to lose should try it! GOOD LUCK!
If you know it's still early, why do you think anyone would have results already?
The over the counter drug Alli is a lower dose of a prescription drug that has been around for a couple of years.
I participated in the stage 3 tests a bunch of years ago. I dropped out, it was awful.
What it does is not allow your body to process about 1/4 of the fat you eat. Fat is dense in calories. You have to take supplements of a number of fat soluble vitamins because you may become deficient in them.
The worst thing is when you poop. It burns feels greasy and you basically ahve to take a shower after each BM.
If you eat to much fat at any meal you will be running (and leaking as you run) to the washroom within minutes.

Has anyone tried the new diet pills Allie?

I just bought a bottle and was wonderning if they actually work. Anyone?
Answer:
Just bought it also. been reading about it for awhile.you need to start by eating low-fat, low-calorie foods about 1 week before you start. (that's the stage I'm at) What it does is that it deteres you from eating fatty foods by making you go #2 if you eat more fat than you are supposed too. I mean it really makes you go, oily, watery, never know when it will happen! That would keep me from eating fatty foods in a heart beat! Good luck to the both of us ! (need to lose 35lbs)
yes I recently just started taking this Alli.
I started on Friday and I've taken it before each meal.
If you already eat under 15g of fat each meal i'm not sure HOW much it will really help you. I do stay under that every meal because i generally eat very healthy but i am taking the pill with my meals.
You will see an orangy oily substance in your stool if you do eat fatty, fried +15g of fat meals. I have yet to see it in my stool.
I do feel lighter though and I feel like it will help out.
It's only been 3 days so i cannot confirm a huge difference. But I will come back to you in a week or so if your still interested.
My mother is also taking it and she has seen the oily substance after she ate some fried chicken and coleslaw, etc.
I've heard good things about this product but it is a tid bit expensive.
i hope this helps a little =] good luck

Has anyone tried the new diet pill alli i want to know if it really works?

Answer:
Any pill that tells me to wear dark pants to avoid embarrassment, better offer me something better than an additional seven pounds over four months as long as I exercise and diet.
I have heard that if you take it and eat fatty foods, youd better be close to the bathroom!
Weight loss pills are widely advertised as quick method to lose weight. These are food supplements and are not regulated by the FDA or any authority. Some weight loss pills may help you lose weight for a short time, but after a month or so, the body becomes immune to them.
I found information on weight loss pills and their side effects at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspi...
My friend tried it for a week and stopped. She was experiencing embarrasing side effects. Oily flatulence, uncontrollable bowels, etc.
I have not tried it, but any diet aid that will result in oily discharge and uncontrolled bowel movements if you go over too many fat grams in a meal is not a good idea. The only thing that truly works is proper food choices and portion sizes along with exersize, exersize and exersize! Good Luck!
yes, it really works at making duky deposits when you least expect it.

Has anyone tried the new diet patch.cellu-light?

the mailer arrived today and says you lose 24 pounds in 4 weeks.?
Answer:
I got it too. Glad to see there are some comments here. I'm sure we will discover something on the net in the near future. I did go to a web site for Cellu Light today and it was in French. Tried to email the contact email and it was returned. Anyhow, you are right that is sounds a bit too good to be true to work that effectively for everyone! Glad someone started this discussion, it's helping me to refrain until I hear more.I am using the fucothin by Garden of LIfe as recommended by Dr. Mercola. It takes a while to work but I do think it helps. I have not really been dieting and after 6 weeks using it I did experience some weight loss when I was expecting a weight gain instead. So for now I'm sticking with that and hoping I will watch my eating and do a bit more exercise like they recommend to do while taking the fucothin.Look forward to see what we end up discovering about the patch.......
GIMMICK
Unfortunately I want to know the same answer. I just received the information in the mail too. Have you found anything out yet? If so, let me know.
I got the ad, too, and was very curious.
I haven't found anything about it specifically yet, but I did find this:
http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2004/12/transderm...
which sounds similar to the cellu-light information.
I'm in Lubbock, TX and received this same mailer. Very tempting, isn't it. It has a New York, NY address, but no web address and nothing yet in web searches. I'm pretty sure it is a foreign company that has less than honorable 'studies'. I'm also pretty sure nothing is 100% effective to loose 24 pounbs in 4 weeks, though. Too good to be true for me. lt
I just got the mailer myself and jumped on the web to see if there was any concrete evidence supporting their claim. I haven't found any so far. Glad I'm not the only one who's curious.
I just got the same info in the mail with the same New York address. I came on the web to do a search and came up empty also. I think I'll hold out until I hear more. It sound to good to be true. They claim they did this "study" and every last person lost weight and that there was not one side effect!!! I don't know.
I received the mailer yesterday. When I searched some of the claims I came up empty. There is no Samuel DeTilly at Oxford University nor is there any clincial trial that has been done there on this product or it would have appeared in a search. The National Centre they refer to is for Social Studies (not much connection to a health care product). The Web site is in French which contradicts the claims that this is an English Company. When I researched the phone number two companies came up: Bayou Health Center out of Pensacola Fl which no longer is in business and had an unsattisfactory record with the BBB. The other RMCC Agencies out of Worcester, Ma is not responding to the BBB and has been sending promotional materials of other products with very untrue claims. Stay away. I have made a claim with the Federal Trade Commission - I recommend you also do so.

Has anyone tried the new Alli Diet Pill?

If so is it working for you? Thank you for any info you can provide.
Answer:
I have been on Alli for about 2.5 weeks (when ever it came out). I was terrified of the explosive bowels I kept hearing about, so I started on a weekend when I was home. I have never had an accident or near accident. While taking this I am definitely more conscious about what i eat, and even though I could skip a pill if I wanted to be bad, there is enough drug in my system to still cause a treatment effect. In fact, I have actually been a little constipated and have had to use stool softeners a couple of times, still no "accidents". I have never had oily spotting or anything. Yes I do see the oil in the toilet, yes it is gross, but I'd rather it be there than in my body, and I know the pills are working!!Being on this pill has helped me with my will power, knowing if I really want to eat something I shouldn't, there may be very undesirable consequences!!I have lost over 10 pounds so far and shocked to see the weight go down a little each day!I'd say if you can follow the guidelines of the 15 grams of fat per meal you should do just fine!!
I wanted to know the same...looking forward to hearing these answers!
Read about the side effects. They ask you to wear your brown pants to work, just in case. No weight loss is worth pooping yourself.
I thought about it, but then I got the pamphlet for it- after reading it, I am too scared! It seriously said that if you go over 12 grams of fat in a meal, you may experience "gas with an oily discharge"... and then goes on to say "you may recognize this as looking like the grease on top of a pizza"... I am not kidding! I got the pamphlet from the display at Walmart.
No but you shouldn't resort to those pills when you want to lose weight because they are very unhealthy ways to lose it.
You should try the hoodia pill. It isn't a fat burner but it can make you not want to eat anything for several hours. Look for it in stores that is a good pill as long as you eat right and excersise while taking it.
No, I have not. But many of the side effects seem to inhibit normal functioning. If I need to take a change of clothes with me, in case I have an "accident", that's not good. They say if you keep your fat intake under 15mg(or grams, whatever) you will not have to worry about leaking greasy stools. But my theory is, if you can make a conscious effor to decrease your fat intake to avoid that side effect...what do you need the medicine for? Additionally, it does not effect carbohydrate consumption, which is often a big deal for individuals that need to lose weight.I'm not saying you shouldn't try it. But, definately be wary of the potential side effects. Who wants to go out with a big oily feces spot on the back of their pants?
My sister was on it when it was prescription only. I guess the only difference is that it was a little stronger. She lost like 30lbs in a month, but had to be very careful how much fat she took in because it can cause you to have loose stool because it extracts lot of the fat you eat. Good Luck!
I started taking it last week Tuesday and lost a total of 9 pounds- this week I have been slacking with the diet, but haven't put the weight back on. I don't have any crazy side effects. Usually the people that say you will crap on yourself haven't tried the pill. Its very hard to do that considering that starter pack even brings a low fat diet you can follow.

Has anyone tried The FIRM to lose weight and tone up? If so, how did it work for you?

Answer:
I have been using the Firm videos (now dvd's) since the birth of my son back in '86. At that time they only had a few to choose from and I watched them over and over again until the tapes wore out.As soon as they started coming out with new ones I picked them up. I now have a huge collection. There are so many different ones to choose from now but each one has a warm up section, cardio section and a cool down so you are lest apt to injure yourself and more likely to continue using them day after day.Since the Firm is never faddish they never go out of style yet they continue to work.Although I have other dvd's in addition to The Firm, I rely more on the Firm than I do the others. There are no fancy steps and when you have completed a session you know that you got a good healthy workout. If you have never tried the Firm before you are in for a treat.
It worked very well for my sister after her pregnancies, however, she was in relatively good shape when she started. I have done them and they are difficult. I think you'd be fine if you worked yourself into one but they are quite challenging. Choose one you can sequence and then work up to doing the entire workout.
Best to you.

Has anyone tried the Cinch diet from Shaklee? Pros/Cons?

How does it taste? I am trying the tea right now, it taste pretty good.
Answer:
I've used it and it works great. It's healthy and easy to follow. The shakes are very good and they come in three flavors - vanilla, chocolate and cafe latte. The snack bars are also very good and filling. The energy tea also comes in pomegranate. The plan is powered by leucine, an essential amino acid that travels directly to muscle to signal protein synthesis. It helps your body preserve muscle mass while you lose weight and inches from fat.On most diets, you lose muscle as well as fat. When you lose muscle, you lose some of your body's ability to burn fat and your metabolism drops.I was on the plan for three weeks and lost 10 lbs, 4 1/2 inches from my waistline and 2 1/4 inches from my hips.Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions.

Has anyone tried the Atkins Diet ?

How much weight can I lose in the induction? DYING to lose 15 lbs.I'm exercising but want 15 gone ! HELP !
Answer:
Works for a while, but you get tired of it, it is actually a good starting diet, but you wouldnt be able to do it for a very long time, the longest I have heard it works is like for 8 months. So, you will then find an alternative or a healthier lifestyle. It is one of the easiest to do tho, but i would certainly try to get off the hook from it after six months and change strategiesBone Chance!
No but i know a few who have done it dont do that south beach diet or like that water crap do jenny craig that is affordable my mom and dad did it and in just a few months they look awsome trust me.
The Atkins diet has been tried by several people I know, with uniform results: you lose weight, but cannot keep it off: one becomes desperate for carbs after a while.
,Atkins does work at first. the pounds fell off delightfully, BUT it is not really a good diet as it is unhealthy and after about 14pounds you seem to come to a standstill, but when you turn to eating carbs again even though you will be cautious, the pounds pile back on. I truly don't recommend it.
Not tried.Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
I have done the Atkins diet, and it is an easy diet for me to stay on, more so than others I have tried. There are no expensive foods to buy or special meals to fix. But it is not for everyone. I have two friends who have tried it - one lost weight on it, and the other quit after a few days because she said she started feeling dizzy while on the diet. I personally was able to lose weight on the diet, an average of 2-4 pounds per week. However, you will hit that period after being on the diet for awhile where you will not lose weight for a couple of weeks. It has to do with your metabolism adjusting to what your body is going through. However, if you can stay on the diet and make it through that phase, you will eventually start losing weight again. You do have to cut carbs while on the diet; the trick is to not cut out too many carbs - if you do, not only will you begin to feel like crap (tired, lack of energy), you will probably end up going off the diet. Also, once you have lost your desired amount of weight, you will have to follow the Atkins maintenance plan - otherwise you will immediately begin to gain back the weight you have lost. My best advice to you is to just try it for yourself and see if it works for you.
I think that almost everyone here has tried the Atkins diet at one time or another. It does work in the beginning but then the weight comes back (and that is why you'll get so many knowing about the Atkins diet). Why not do a more healthful approach and look more into The South Beach Diet or better yet The Best Life Diet. The Best Life Diet by Bob Greene is the diet that Oprah has been on and has help her stabilize her weight. It's more about making better choices than a very strict diet, yet it does have phases with the first phase being a nice weight loss phase. The one thing with the Best Life Diet is that since you have actually been on a diet with real food (not just fat or protein) but a healthy selection of food you can live on this diet forever. Consumer reports just listed it as the best diet book that is out now.To give you an example of the diet here are just a few of the choices that you make:
When you are having bread with a meal don't choose plain white bread have one that is labeled 100% whole wheat or 100% whole grain. It is higher in fiber and it doesn't spike your blood sugar like white flour does. It also keep you fuller longer. They also make pita's, flatouts and pasta with 100% whole grain so you have tons of choices for sandwiches, toast and dinners. Just making this one good choice can make a difference of a few pounds in a month. Now add in a few other tips like substituting non-fat dairy products for full fat and the weight loss keeps on coming, yet you are always satisfied. If you mix in some of the exercise that you are doing and you should see results fairly quickly yet you will not feel deprived and you won't worry about the weight creeping up on your again.
I've been doing it for two years now and lost 60 lbs so far.It is not meant to be a quick weight loss diet, it is intended to be a way of life. So yes, if you lose the weight and then quit you will gain it all back... just like every other diet. With only 15 lbs to lose, it likely won't come off very fast. And the loss will slow down the closer you get to your ideal weight.

Has anyone tried the Almased protein diet shake? If so how much weight did you lose?

Answer:
I started using Almased 4 days ago - I lost 4 lbs in the first 2 days and this is the first shake that I can use that doesn't leave me hungry. I have been substituting it for breakfast and dinner and having a healthy lunch i.e., salad and chicken, etc. I am gearing up to do the two-week turbo, even tho only two days is recommended by Almased - they are not affiliated in any way with Dr. Markert. But Almased recommends Tablespoons not teaspoons!!! Get your info from the nutritionist you can call her at 1-800-Almased. Good luck! P.S. Almased is not cheap but if it helps me lose this weight it will be well worth it and when I think of all the money I've spent on diet products that do not work then there is no comparison.
No.Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day.

HAs anyone tried that 5-hour energy drink? how do you feel? does it work?

Answer:
I tried it during finals for college. I took one so I could stay up all night to study. I really don't think it worked because there were many times during the night that I wanted to just sleep. Also in the morning I had a huge stomach ache during the exam. Needless to say, I didn't do well on the exam.It could of been a combination of food and the energy drink but noone will know for sureI just know I will never use it again
I like Red Bull and it do work.
Yeah I've tried it. It definetely works better than vault, monster, rockstar, etc...It makes you feel refreshed and ready to attack the day just as if you had a full 8-9 hrs of sleep. If you are one to go to bed late and get up early for work or whatever, I would recommend it. It is pricy though as it is a tiny bottle.
Yeahh it works. But the only time i tried it, the crash was pretty bad for me.
you can feel it when you get that burst of energy!! also from this is what I have heard... do not drink red bull! it has bull sperm in it! NASTY! I would go for a rockstar instead!!hope that helps
haven't yet but i will
I've tried it and I saw virtually no effect. It was the same as drinking anything else. If you really need to be up, take three or four caffiene pills, just be ready to get the shakes. And to that one chick- red bull doesn't have sperm in it. It's taurine, a pseudo amino acid that was first isolated in a bull, hence the name. (Taurus being the rem for bull and -ine being the name for any nitrogen compound.)I should metion that it is dangerous to take that much caffeine, but sometimes deperate measures must be taken. Use caution with anything at that large of a dose, although it's the same as drinking a pot of coffee.

Has anyone tried phenocerin? I just heard about it and wanted to know the results of it?

Has anyone tried or know someone who has tried the new weightloss pill Alli? If so does it work and how?

Answer:
any weight loss pill will work if taken correctly - it just makes you feel less hungry and makes you more satisfied with what you have eaten and gives you a jolt of energy to exercise with . the point then being to teach your body to eat less and move more then you can get off the pills and eat better without them. I talk about this but have been on EVERY diet pill that they dont even work for me anymore, my body has adjusted because i have abused them and now my body is screwed up. Use them as a starting point instead of something that will make you thin, then you can learn the correct way to keep yourself thin instead of living off of them. Good luck!
PILLS DON'T WORK JUST GET OUT THERE AND EXERCISE!
I know one person. You must not exceed 15grams of fat at one sitting/meal. Or you will have Oily and gassy uncontrolable poop in your pants. The thing is not a magic pill. you must cut your calories and exersize with the pill. If you want to loose 10 lbs you will probably be able to loose 15 lbs on this.. Good luck.. The side effects are oily farts.. Not trying to be graffic but this is true..
A friend of mine has been using it for a little over a month now and is losing about 3 pounds a week. She is exercising and eating very carefully.
Honestly I don't know if it's the pill that actually works or the fact that you have to watch what you eat so carefully to keep from having the bad side effects.
Diet pills of any kind are no substitute for diet and exercise. Burning calories and lowering your body weight is not done via pills and medications. It's done via diet and exercise.
I won't do that to my body personally but I know quite a few people who are on it. Some like it ... some don't. But the one thing I hear from everyone that is on Alli is that you poo your pants. Knowing that do you really want to deal with an issue like that? I'd just stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine. That is the healthiest way to lose weight and the safest.
i advise you my dear, any drug that yo know nothing about, drop it. if you need to lose weight through using drugs and not stressing your eating habits, my dear, contact me on my phone number or email address below. +2348077814705,

Has anyone tried nutisystem?

I am interested in trying nutrisystem and I was wondering if anyone else has tried it and if so did you like it, did it work, and did you like the food? Please help me out.
Answer:
Nutrisystem is good for about 20 pounds of weight loss. Jenny Craig is good for about 20 pounds, Palm Beach and Pritikin and Weight Watchers - they are all good for about 20 pounds. After the first 20 pounds, if you stop, it comes back plus some. If you keep it up forever, you may eventually lose more, especially if you exercise really hard. So, the real question is, what diet can you stay on the rest of your life?

Has anyone tried MY Alli yet?

I wanted to try it then my friend saw something on the news talking about a warning for it. you need to carry around extra undies with u cuz ull have #2 accidents without a warning... that made it a no for me... but other than that side effect, i guess it works.
I stock that crap at the store I work at. $60 for some kelp pills? Nah, it's just a BS diet fad, like Atkins.

Has anyone tried hypnotism to loose weight?? And did it work?

I have been struggling with my weight for years now. I have been as heavy as 220 lbs. and gotten down to 155 lbs, but keep gaining and losing. Right now I'm at 185 lbs. which is WAY to heavy for my 5' 6" frame. I've tried every diet imaginable, and some that are literally UNIMAGINABLE. I recently read an article in a magazine about hypnotism, and that it is very successful for people trying to quite smoking, and also for people who are trying to lose weight. I'd like to know if anyone has tried it, and if it really does work. Thanks.
Answer:
Yes, I've tried it and it does work. (for me anyway)

Has anyone tried hoodia diet pills and do they work??

i would like to know if these hoodia diet pills work and if so are they legal in australia??
Answer:
Hoodia really works, the only problem with Hoodia is making sure you get the real stuff. You have to know where to look. You want to make sure you get "pure hoodia" not an extract. Get a pure hoodia brand that has C.I.T.E.S. certification. You also need to make sure you get 750 mg. to 1000 mg. per pill. They usually don't put enough Hoodia in these big chain store brands to do much of anything. To find the best Hoodia I always recommend Totalink's unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodi...As far as Australia goes, the last I herd they were not allowing import of Hoodia, unfortunately it's one of the only places that does that.
wouldnt be a lot better to just maybe jog a mile every day?
One thing that will help you lose weight: diet pills. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few. The best product I found on the market is made with pure hoodia and it works great! You can go to
http://www.newlproject.info and order you free trial, also you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
Not sure about Austrailia... but here's some info about hoodia pills...
In order for Hoodia Pills to work they must go through your digestive system. Not only does it take the hoodia pills longer to reach your bloodstream then a liquid does, but your digestive juices attack the hoodia losing some of the potency. With a liquid the absorption rate is 95 鈥?98%, while with pills it is only 2 鈥?20% maximum. Has anyone tried endermologie/lipomassage for the treatment of cellulite..?

it is meant to be very effective and I want to get it done but just wondering if anyone else tried it, also can it target fat areas even if you are slim elsewhere.
Answer:
we do the endermologie since 2001 and we have really good results. you can check your office at www.euroderma.com
DO IT you are going to love endermologie treatment.
I run a plastic surgery office and that procedure is frankly a waste of money as it doesn't produce the desired results which are promised.

Has anyone tried Colon365, and does it work well. Is there a better colon cleanser out there?

I am trying to lose weight, along with becoming a healthier me. I have never taken a colon cleanser and I am a little bit apprehensive, but I have heard good things. However, the problem is everyone I know that has done them have all done different ones. I would appreciate anyone's imput. Thanks.
Answer:
The best colon cleanser I have found is to read the dietary labels on foods and pick the ones that say next to fiber 20% or higher of daily allowance. I try to eat a lot of these foods. Drink plenty of water and get daily excersize. Stay away from all the supplements that say they cleanse the colon. They are no good.

Has anyone tried Clenbuterol?

Does this so-called "Size Zero" pill work? Has anyone had a really bad experience with it?
Answer:
i tried it just to see how it works - you have to take it not more than 2 weeks on and at least 2 weeks off, not more than 2 cycles.
it didnt do anything much.
dont believe magazines - they will blow it way out of proportions just to have an article.
this is a horse tranquilizer. there are reports that the hollywood "in" crowd uses this to stay so skinny. DO NOT USE THIS! it increases your heart rate insanely and makes u sweat. It is not a human weight loss aid, its for HORSES! now please take what I'm saying into consideration, I have tried a lot of crazy things to lose weight and I'm even afraid of this!

Has anyone tried Alli? If so how do you like it? How long have you been on it and have you lost any weight?

Answer:
I had diarrhea on it, but it works once u can stand it
i bought the recipe book and they are great. i wouldn't go for the pill because it says that you will have to wear a pad due to anal leakage. nasty
my mom is thinking about starting it. her only hang up is having to wear adult diapers if she eats anything with fat. kinda gross
I never tried it if you think that you should try it then go for it

Has anyone tried Alli? How much weight have you lost and how long have you been on it?

Answer:
hi my name is angie and im currently on the alli pill im not that obese and i have been on it week and a half and lost 6 pounds. its not that bad u only go the bathroom when u eat really fatty foods.i were a panty liner and i have had no accidents. so i have nothing bad to say about it hopefully it will bring good results.
The questions you SHOULD be asking are:
How much poo ends up in your pants,
and is it worth it? Are you into drugs for handling ALL your problems, or you tried sensible diets and they don't work?
Alli is a joke. Wait a second...All diet pills are jokes. The manufactures know no diet pill will help people to lose weight. So they keep making pills for people to keep buying it. They are basically cheating people to get money. If anything, diet pills can be considered dangerous to your body and can probably kill the consumer. If Alli does work (Which I doubt) you would have to stay on the pill for life to keep the weight off. Do you really want to take a diet pill for the rest of your life? If you "forget" to take the pill or they stop making it...You will gain all the weight back.
My neighbor is on it and yes she has lost weight but she said the greasy stools (ick) are miserable. She has been on it for almost two weeks and has lost 16lbs. However, she weighs around 350 so she will lose a lot at first.
I am currently taking Alli (for four days now) and have had no negative side effects.I have been eating healthy and going to the gym though -- the KEY I think to keeping the side effects at bay.Since the pill is designed to work over time, I would not expect to hear of 'real' results until six months from now. And remember losing 2lbs. in one week is 'normal,' so...
Alli stops your body from absorbing a portion of your fat intake, and it does work, I was on it for about two weeks, and mixed with a pretty rigourous work out program I was able to lose about eight pounds.

Has anyone tried Alli, the new weight loss pill?

I was wondering if anyone tried Alli and had success with it. I started a weight management program today through my doctor. He said that later on if I'm not getting any results, and if I want it, he would have me start Alli. I looked online, and heard that there could be some nasty side effects with it (like spending a lot of time in the bathroom). I know it is a fat blocker, and your body has to get rid of the eccess fat in foods that it doesn't absorb. Are the side effects that awful? Is it even worth it?
Answer:
The "awful" side effects are for those who are not dedicated to following a lower fat diet and excercising. Alli attaches to 25% of the fat you consume and passes it through your system. The more fat you consume, the more that 25% is going to cause to pass through your system and the more side effects you will have.If you are truly motivated to change your life and not only START a healthy lifestyle but STICK to it.. then Alli can work for you. And then, the side effects will act as a reminder... "hey you, you're not sticking to your diet!"
ok wow all diet pills say they kickstart your metabilism so you lose weight fast thats true... but when u get of the pill ur metabilism is slower than ever so u eat alot and gain weight fast!
I guess it comes down to really watching what you eat. I am also considering starting to use Alli. There are always unpleasant side effects, it does not mean that everyone experiences them. If i decide to give it a try it will be when I am totally committed to changing my eating habits for good. Good luck to you.
Hi there! I've been on Alli for almost 2 weeks now and have lost 4 lbs on my 1st week. The nasty side effects will only occur when you exceed your fat intake (which is about 15 grams of fat a meal). Personally I haven't had any treatment effects yet (knock on wood) and that's because I've been really careful about what I eat. It takes self control and discipline and if you're up for it then there's no need to be scared, go ahead and try it!
i would try just watching ur diet first, cuz u need to do that with Alli anyway, except if u do it without Alli u wont have to ddeal with the gross side effects. and also, its so new that they dont know if its bad for ur heart, etc yet...better safe than sorry
i started using Alli three week ago, and so far i have lost twelve pounds, so i think that it really helps. the side effects are not as bad as they said, i made the mistake of eating something fried but it wasnt as bad as they make it seem, you dont spend a lot of time in the bathroom like it says. you do got to watch what you eat however. i started a diet at the same time so thats why i think the side effects of pills werent as bad.
Yeah i wouldnt try Alli.it makes you shaky.but what works wonders...i saw it in Oprahs magazine "O".its called Hoodia Bites..and its 100 percent south african hoodia.hoodia is know to be effective.i would look it up if you want more info.i know i lost 5 pds in one week..and 7 in the 2nd week.

Has anyone tried Alli yet? Does it help?

Answer:
I have not tried it, I swear by Lipo-6
I have been on Alli for about 2.5 weeks (when ever it came out). I was terrified of the explosive bowels I kept hearing about, so I started on a weekend when I was home. I have never had an accident or near accident. While taking this I am definitely more conscious about what i eat, and even though I could skip a pill if I wanted to be bad, there is enough drug in my system to still cause a treatment effect. In fact, I have actually been a little constipated and have had to use stool softeners a couple of times, still no "accidents". I have never had oily spotting or anything. Yes I do see the oil in the toilet, yes it is gross, but I'd rather it be there than in my body, and I know the pills are working!!Being on this pill has helped me with my will power, knowing if I really want to eat something I shouldn't, there may be very undesirable consequences!!I have lost over 10 pounds so far and shocked to see the weight go down a little each day!I'd say if you can follow the guidelines of the 15 grams of fat per meal you should do just fine!!
tried this product back before it became an over the counter medicine and used it on and off for about 1 month. I did not have a good experience and would only recommend it to those who will adhere to the diet guidelines VERY strictly. You should definitely go to www.myalli.com to learn more about the product and how it works, but let me just tell you about my personal experience.Taking the pill is easy enough; it's similar to many other pills out there. The hard part is dealing with the side effects. DISCLAIMER: For those of you who are squeamish, maybe you don't want to read on...If your body has a lot of fat, or if you have had a meal that contained a lot of fat, then you will most likely experience the negative side effects. First there is a lot of gas (flatulence), which is extremely malodorous. If you work in a small space, your neighbors will definitely notice. Second, with that gas, you will often have the urge to go to the bathroom. When you do, there may or may not be anything other than gas. Most likely, there will be some oil. The Alli website explains this as undissolved fat. Whatever it is, it's now coming out of you. It will probably stain your undergarments, and it has a very unpleasant odor as well. There is also very high potential for farting oil into your pants. The biggest inconvenience for me is that I would have the urge to pass gas, so I'd run out to the bathroom. Sometimes there would only be gas, and sometimes there would be oil. Just when I'd get comfortable enough thinking that I'd only pass gas, oil would come out. And vice versa. So I highly recommended staying close to the bathroom.Overall I didn't find very good results because I stopped taking it; the side effects were too much for me to handle. The Alli website says that you should stick to a really strict, low-fat diet to avoid the side effects. But even when I was not eating fatty foods I'd still have some side effects. I think it also depends on how much fat you have in your body already.I don't want to be all negative here but this is my personal experience. I just want to stress, again, buyers beware and take caution. Keep some extra underwear around, buy some personal wipes to keep handy, and keep to the strict low-fat diet when using this product!

Has anyone tried Alli for weight loss? Does it work?

I'm at my wit's end with trying to lose weight and am looking for an effective diet pill.
Answer:
Before you even think about taking this medication, go to the website and read the side effects. Alli blocks the absorbtion of some of the fat you consume. If your body doesn't absorb it, the only way for it to come out is in your stool. Alli causes loose stools, frequent and urgent need to go poop, and oily anal leakage. The website even reccomends bringing a change of clothes with you to work. There are so many other ways to lose weight.why go through all that?
You don't need a diet pill. I lost 50 pounds ALL NATURAL. Join a weight loss club like Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig. If you DO lose weight on diet pills, you will gain it back SO much quicker if you go back to your old eating habits.
Good luck
My mother is on it right now and doing good so far.
Alli stops your body from absorbing a portion of your fat intake. It absolutely does that. And the side effects (anal leakage) will keep you from eating fatty foods. It's a great pill in combination with a exercise program.

Has anyone tried a generic diet pill?

Has anyone tried generic hydroxycut?
And if you have, whats the name of it?
Answer:
All alopathic medicines are chemicals. These chemicals provide remedy for specific conditions but invariably have side effects. Thus medicines shud be taken only when required after weighing the pros and cons of the indications and possible side effects. A physician is trained to do this exercise and hence all pills including diets pills shud only be taken under medical advice and supervision.Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day.
Have tried generic acomplia, aka Rimonabant. It works great as an appetite suppressant. You can read up on it at http://www.4-rx.net/rimonabant.html...

Has anyone tried a cleansing diet?

I hear they are supposed to work but has anyone actually tried it? How did it work for you? Any suggestions on which to try?
Answer:
I did try it and you do feel much better although i do not remmber the name.
Hi
I use a cleanse called Isagenix. It helped me lose over 20lbs in less than 2 months.
I also have more energy and better sleep!
It is a great way to kick start a healthier lifestyle.
Good Luck!
bardays.isagenix.com
I tried the fat smashing diet... the one on celebrity fit club. The first nine days is mainly fruits and veggies and it's called detox then it goes into phases and adds regular food back into it slowly. i really liked it and the principles have stuck with me. I lost 15 lbs on it and am still losing. I would recommend giving it ago because it teaches you how to have a balanced healthy diet and to excercise.
Our bodies should sometimes we need diet, specially a cleansing diet is concern, diet mean to refresh our body from toxic waste the food that we eat, to cleansing? you tried more juice to drink, to wash your internal body, i prepared, drink pure coconut juice the best for cleansing...

Has anyone tried "Alli" diet pills and have you noticed a difference?

i'm thinking about buying some, but i think they'd be like XP2G pills or something similar to that.
Answer:
they have been known to cause anal leakage, and have risks for increased heart and kidney issues. and no, diet pills don't work long term.
Don't waste your money. Start on a good diet and exercise program. In the end, that's all Alli is anyway. It just forces you to stick on it or you get sick. There are no quick fixes, none that last anyway.

Has anyone taken the Hoodia Gordonni Diet Pills?

Has anyone taken the Hoodia Gordonni Diet Pills? Do they work? WHich are the best ones?
Answer:
In order for Hoodia Pills to work they must go through your digestive system. Not only does it take the hoodia pills longer to reach your bloodstream then a liquid does, but your digestive juices attack the hoodia losing some of the potency. With a liquid the absorption rate is 95 鈥?98%, while with pills it is only 2 鈥?20% maximum. Pills are also sometimes hard to swallow but a liquid hoodia can be taken by putter a dropper full under your tongue or mixing in a glass of water or juice. Plus liquid hoodia also tastes good. I like the hoodia at www.besthoodiagordonii.com
You can easily see why the hoodia liquid is clearly the better choice.
You can read a good article about how it works at:

Diet pills don't work, don't be fooled. Some may suppress hunger, but drinking plenty of fluids will do that. Don't waste your money!!
Yeah, they supress your appetite. They made my sick to my stomach. I couldn't eat a thing. I was sick all day just by taking one pill. It did a number on my stomach too. I wasn't right for a few days. I was so bloated. I figured I was safe because it's natural. I took just pure hoodia. That was the only ingredient in it. I ordered it from a vitamin company. That was the last diet pill I took. Now I'm just eating better and walking and I've lost a few pounds naturally.

Has anyone taken phentramine diet pills?

Do they really work when combined with diet and excercise and if so how much weight would you lose in a month?
Answer:
Phentermine is a very common weight loss drug. I personally don't support drugs for weight loss, but I see it prescribed quite frequently. It is a stimulant that promotes weight loss by suppressing the appetite. I have heard it works well in the short term, but people are generally not on it long term (due to lack of effectiveness). You cannot reall y determine how much weight you will lose because each person's metabolism is different. It does work with diet and exercise because of the diet and exercise. The only real benefit the drug offers is to make you not want to eat as much.A lot of patients do complain about the side effects (insomnia being a big one).
i took them when i was 16. it made me not hungry at all and i lost 15lbs in a month. they made me nervous so i stopped taking them
my sister got them online last year. She lost quite a bit of weight but they made her anxious and jittery so she came off them. I dont know if the side-effects were because she wasn't over-weight to start off with.

Has anyone take the diet pill ALLI ? Do it work any weight loss yet?

SERIOUS ANSWER ONLY PLEASE!
Answer:
I am currently taking the pill and have lost 9 pounds. I am exercising and make healthy choices (food) , and I don't have any of the side effects unless I eat food that contains too much fat...
This is a serious answer: all diet pills are a scam, and do not work. They also have bad side effects. The only real benefit of diet pills is to make money of the companies who sell them. Eating a proper diet and exercising daily is the only way that works. Good Luck.
Jeffy B is100% on! I've tried a diet pill once...and it did nothing different than what i'd done by myself. i am a hardcore jogging fan, even before the pill, but i thought "what the hey" and tried it. they did nothing...just give me headaches whenever i wasn't taking them! and dizzyspells and headaches once i was off them. i swore never to do that again.
I took them long enough to know i didnt like them (3 days). Its gross and i had diahrea all day and not to mention the greasy toilet. Never again. And now that im off them im constiapted and hungry as hell! No weight is lost i think what they do is make you eat less greasy food to avoid the side effects but if you dont mind them then you dont change your diet, and dont lose weight. You have to change the way you eat and follow the menu and still work out to lose anything.

Has anyone successfully lost their baby jelly belly?

My daughter turns 4 next month and I've decided it's about time I get rid of the stomach I never lost after she was born. I'm feeling very energetic since giving up smoking 4 months ago and I've started swimming twice a week as well as trying to diet. However, what will work the best bearing in mind that I am limited with time as I'm self employed and also look after my girl (I do a lot of walking, but this is at her pace so not very useful).
Answer:
my son is about the same age as your daughter, and i've still got my 'baby belly'.. my bump was HUGE (big baby - ouch) the thing is, if u had a big pregnancy bump, then sometimes the skin gets stretched beyond the point of no return, and no amount of dieting %26 exercising will make it all go away. things like sit-ups and swimming will help, so keep trying those - even if they don't totally get rid of your jelly belly , at least u will know that u've done all u can to minimise it, and u'll be nice %26 healthy too ! i swear - if i won a lot of money, i would be getting a tummy tuck quicker than u could say 'bye bye baby belly' ! lol.
good for you giving up smoking..still trying ah not really to be honest, think they say sit ups good for this, but dont think it ever goes really flat again, unless you were very slim to begin with
i never lost any of mine after my 3 kids but after my 4th child and last lol i really did lose alot off this due to doing the dreded pelvic floor exercise try them trust me
I did all my exercises and lost weight but it never really went away. There was always some loose skin there that hung if i bent over on my knees. I had an eptopic pregnancy two years ago and it has never gone after the muscle was cut during surgery. I have been to my GP and the only way it will ever go now is tummy tuck so i suppose it will have to stay. Good luck anyway, if its only a bit off fat you need to loose you may be ok, your skin might be very elastic x

Has anyone stopped losing weight after 6 months with gastric bypass?

Its been 6 months since the gastric bypass and i cant seem to lose anymore weight
Answer:
I have known 3 people that had the gastric bypass; only one person continued to lose weight for about a year. I have heard more success stories with the lap band procedure.SubJ's suggestions are great and they are probably things you have already heard. It's frustrating, but keep trying. Any weight loss program has its ups and downs.Good luck!
No idea.Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day.

Has anyone out there used the diet pills Alli? Any success?

Answer:
I read the possible side effects. If you like the idea of needing adult diapers for the "Hershey squirt" syndrome it may cause, please give it a try.
i haven t but friend of mine did and she wasn t happy and successfull with it she used to be on fruit diet and she lost something about 3 kilos first week and other weeks she loses 1/2 kilos =]
i heard that it was not bad accept it can give you uncontrollable bowel movements.
I have had alot of success pooping my pants. The results are so good that I think I need to start wearing a diaper. You too can have results like mine, just stop in at any walmart and pick some up.

Has anyone out there tried the Red Exerciser?

It looks like one of those too good to be true exercise machines that don't really get results... I'm just wondering if it actually makes any difference? I've seen the TV commercial and looked at the website... Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience?? Thanks in advance for your answers!
Answer:
I haven't personally used one, but my mother has been using the Red Exerciser for the past two weeks and she loves it. Its the first thing she does when she comes home from work. She has lost 2 and 1/2 inches in these two weeks and thats without watching what shes eating.
it is too good to be true, but I did try it and it is a waste of time
uy
hello. I do not know of this Red Exerciser, but I guess it had an impressive commercial somewhere to make you take notice. Commercials are great BUT you have to KNOW that no one else is in your bones except YOU. can/will you invest yourself to achieve your goal? good luck : }

Has anyone out there tried the new alli OTC drug?

I am aware of the lothesome side effects, but if one could follow the plan and stay away from the fats, etc. it seems like it would work. Is it an appetite depressant as well?
Answer:
No, it is not an appetite suppressant. All it does is keep your body from absorbing about 25% of the fat that you eat. If you also adopt a good diet and exercise routine, you will lose weight 25% faster than if you didn't use the product at all. So, if you would lose ten pounds in two months (for example) with your diet and exercise, you would lose 12.5 pounds with Alli.
no pills work just change your diet and exercise, the good old fashioned way, and you are in control.
No it is not an appitite suppressant. At work two people have started using it and like the results. After hearing that I did a search for Alli questions on here and read up more on personal answers regarding the good, the bad and the ugly of it. I suggest you do the same here. Just type Alli in the box that says search for questions and read what real live people have said about it.
...it makes you crap oil. I mean... just think about that.

Has anyone out there actually had success with the Charles Atlas program or dynamic tension exercise programs?

Answer:
You can actually make results by "dynamic tension". essentially you are contracting the muscles as hard as possible which does bring a huge amount of the fibers into action.Any bodybuilder will tell you that their condition improves after practising posing which is similiar.Personally, I can only work the peak in my biceps by isotension.
Charles Atlas is a fool . PERIOD!

Has anyone on here tried the lemonade diet?

How did you feel and how much weight did you lose?
Answer:
I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.com
Don't diet, just eat healthy. Diet just don't work and aren't healthy at all
none of those kind of diets work, you just temporarily lost water weight or muscle and slow your metabolism.the only real secret to losing weight is to eat right and work out.
I have never tried the lemonade diet. But don't listen to people who have never been on a diet to give you advice.I have tried the low-carb diet with excercise and lost 10 pound in my first month. If the diet is healthy then why not try it,just don't go on anything that will make you starve your self.
You aren't trying to lose weight, are you?
Why???????
You tryin some crazy stuff.
Ma momma tried dat carrot diet.
Oooccchhh.Sorry.
hey there basketcase,
yes i know all about your ridiculousness.
only advice ive got: get over it.
