My daughter turns 4 next month and I've decided it's about time I get rid of the stomach I never lost after she was born. I'm feeling very energetic since giving up smoking 4 months ago and I've started swimming twice a week as well as trying to diet. However, what will work the best bearing in mind that I am limited with time as I'm self employed and also look after my girl (I do a lot of walking, but this is at her pace so not very useful).

my son is about the same age as your daughter, and i've still got my 'baby belly'.. my bump was HUGE (big baby - ouch) the thing is, if u had a big pregnancy bump, then sometimes the skin gets stretched beyond the point of no return, and no amount of dieting %26 exercising will make it all go away. things like sit-ups and swimming will help, so keep trying those - even if they don't totally get rid of your jelly belly , at least u will know that u've done all u can to minimise it, and u'll be nice %26 healthy too ! i swear - if i won a lot of money, i would be getting a tummy tuck quicker than u could say 'bye bye baby belly' ! lol.
good for you giving up smoking..still trying ah not really to be honest, think they say sit ups good for this, but dont think it ever goes really flat again, unless you were very slim to begin with
i never lost any of mine after my 3 kids but after my 4th child and last lol i really did lose alot off this due to doing the dreded pelvic floor exercise try them trust me
I did all my exercises and lost weight but it never really went away. There was always some loose skin there that hung if i bent over on my knees. I had an eptopic pregnancy two years ago and it has never gone after the muscle was cut during surgery. I have been to my GP and the only way it will ever go now is tummy tuck so i suppose it will have to stay. Good luck anyway, if its only a bit off fat you need to loose you may be ok, your skin might be very elastic x
