Green tea, everyone says that it is good, but I am not sure.?

Is it true that it helps to lose weight? How can I know which one is true? Where can I buy?
Answer:
All tea in general is good for you -red, white, green, black and herbals. Each one has a different unique health quality so it's good not just to focus on one.Right now green tea is getting the spotlight, since it was mentioned that it can boost your metabolism. First of all the boost is so tiny that you really don't even notice a difference. Much of the weight loss is due to tea being a diuretic as which all tea is. The receive the most antioxidant power from tea is best to brew your own instead of picking up a ready made tea. There is no one brand that is better than another, as in no one color tea is better than another, so it's best to shop around until you
find a brand with a flavor that you really enjoy. I prefer to get an organic tea, but that is just my personal preference. One tip in your tea brewing to get the most health qualities out of your tea - when getting your water ready for your tea only have it at a simmer do not let it boil. If it does boil let it cool down just a bit. The water at a boiling temperature can destroy some of the antioxidant properties. Water that had been boiled also makes the tea taste flatter. Of coarse you can also make solar tea. Just add a few tea bags to some water and let it sit in the sun.
Green tea is good for you. But, don't overdo it. The most you should drink is about...3 cups a day. WATER is the best. Green tea helps you lose weight because it's hot. It gets your metabolism going so it helps burn fat. I am half asian, and the best green tea can be found in ANY asian store. Try and not to put sugar in the tea because then it doesn't do much for you. lol. ONE cup a day is about right. Excercise is the main key though to lose weight.. %26lt;3333
Never heard of it helping to lose weight, apart from the fact that you shouldn't put sugar or milk in it. I've been drinking it for years and it's become more popular these days - you can buy it in any supermarket now. They're even doing their own branded versions. It's an acquired taste, so try some of the flavoured ones as well. When you make it, don't use boiling water straight on it. Pour the water into your cup/mug, and let it stand a minute or so before putting the tea bag in. Let it stand for about 5 minutes before drinking it.
It is true. Green Tea does promote weight loss but now just on its own. It activates a certain part of your body that will allow you to lose weight more easily. It also has all kinds of good vitamins and antioxidants. A very good choice. It can be bought just about anywhere other tea can be purchased.
green tea is very good for you but not so sure about the weight loss ?- i buy from tesco and find that twinnings pure green tea is the best (have tried lots and some are very bitter. also , you should not leave it to "stew" for more than 3 minutes to get the best flavour
Green tea is an appetite suppresant, most big supermarkets sell it these days. Drink as many cups a day as you can manage. This is the advice that my slimming clinic gave me. The fact that is hot is irrelevant.
Green tea is good for you because it contains anti-oxidants which clear your body of toxins. If you went on a green tea diet and only drank green tea instead of eating you would loose weight. and probably die.
Green tea is the most healthy tea for you to drink. It is naturally caffeine free, and although I don't know about losing weight, it does boost your metabolism and it does help your body's immune system, and is also very good for breast health in women.
You can buy it at a walmart, or almost any grocery store.
I drink chamomile tea almost every day...
anyone that I know that has tried it, it has given them diarrhea, so I guess that would make a person lose weight.
