Gym machine question?

My gym has a few older weights machines. On them, there are 2 numbers printed on the weight plates. I always assume the weight I'm lifting is the lower of the 2, but what is the other number?
Answer:
Hi
Some reisistance machines have a high and low setting. This allows a more gradual build of weight lifted.
It can also make you feel great when you lift the stack on the low setting (try doing this on the high set)Low setting may go up to say 50 kg
high setting may go to 100 kgLook next to the stack of weight to see if there is a pin posistion saying high/low. If not this, it could be kg's and lb's
or any random number the manufacturer has adopted.
If one number is just over twice the other then it's probably the weight in lbs and Kg22lbs 10k
44lbs 20ketc
It is pounds and KG.
you go gym ill join ya i love the gym
