His mama is wrong. I've been modifying mine succesfully . it ain't flat no more. Alternate Lunges, squats (make sure you go down to 90 degrees), stiff leg deadlifts, deadlifts, step-ups ~ all with barbell... 45 degree leg press, single leg seated leg press, reverse hyper extension, standing hip extensions . all on lever.Stretches.
